The Abilities Centre, in collaboration with the Canadian Disability Participation Project (CDPP), is conducting a national survey to learn about the experiences, concerns, and needs of the disability community during the COVID-19 recovery period.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had and will continue to have an immense impact on national and global health as well as socio-economic systems and quality of life. For at-risk groups such as the disability community, these effects increase exponentially.
Adults who identify as having a disability or who have a family member living with a disability in their household are encouraged to participate in this survey at www.disabilitysurvey.ca.
Key findings from the survey will be published to inform the Access Project, which aims to embed equity in the development of strategies and solutions in the face of crisis recovery to better support the needs of all Canadians.
