Gardening 101 with Katherine Oblock

In this workshop, Katherine Oblock will cover the gardening basics you need to know. Topics will include natural fertilizers, raised beds, the importance of pollinators, gardening hacks, barriers for pests, and handy tools. Whether you’re a beginner or want to brush up on your skills, this workshop is perfect for you!

About Katherine Oblock
My career in the horticultural industry started 15 years ago with my studies of Agroecology at the University of British Columbia. Since then, I have worked in school-based garden education programs, urban farming projects, nursery sales and maintenance, workshop facilitation, and landscape maintenance. These experiences have given me a unique appreciation for the value of learning, growing, and sharing in the garden.
