Adaptive Chair Yoga with Bobbie Seale-Cobiskey

Join Bobbie Seale-Cobiskey for a 1hr Accessible Chair Yoga session every Wednesday at 12 PM PT. This accessible Chair Yoga class will weave together practical breathing techniques with sensitively taught yoga postures and movements to meet the needs of all participants.
Bobbie is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She has developed curriculums and taught classes to specialized populations, including those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, a wide range of mobility challenges and those in recovery from addictions.
In 2018, Bobbie participated as the Yoga Therapist for a pilot study in ICORD’S Physical Activity Research Centre (PARC) at the Blusson Spinal Cord Center in Vancouver, British Columbia. She also studied Ayurvedic medicine (Traditional Indian Holistic Medicine) and Traditional Indian Head Massage with Dr. B Ganesh at Ayu Wellness Clinic in Chennai, India.

Staff, volunteers, and clients are part of a team and expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This means that physical harm, verbal or written abuse, harassment of any kind, and any bullying behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have committed conduct prohibited by the societies is subject to disciplinary actions as deemed fit by the Executive Director, up to and including removal from the programs.
