Nothing About Us, Without Us
December 16 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PT
Join Jennifer Fowler from Clay Tree Society on December 16th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PT, to learn about community inclusion programs for adults with disabilities, their rights related to these services, and how to access them. In this event, you will be introduced to Clay Tree Society, who provide support and assistance for individuals with disabilities. Existing since 1957, this organization offers interest groups, provides life skills training, and offer support with living assistance.
Jennifer is the Executive Director at Clay Tree Society and has a Masters in Intercultural and International Communications. She has been an Executive Director for non-profits and in Executive Leadership roles for government for several years.
Please note, this session will be closed 10 minutes after the start time to prevent disruption. Please be on time, or you can watch the recording on YouTube or Facebook afterwards.

The Disability Foundation and affiliated societies’ locations, programs, and events are inclusive and welcoming environments. Participation in any of the aforementioned organizations is subject to the observance of the Disability Foundation and affiliated societies’ rules and procedures. Staff, volunteers, and clients are part of a team and expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This means that physical harm, verbal or written abuse, harassment of any kind, and any bullying behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have committed conduct prohibited by the societies is subject to disciplinary actions as deemed fit by the Executive Director, up to and including removal from the programs.
