SkillingUp with March of Dimes Canada
October 21 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PDT
Join Lisa Persaud from March of Dimes Canada on Monday, October 21st from 12-1 PT for a presentation on the SkillingUp program. SkillingUp is more than just a digital training program; it’s a valuable resource for employment service agencies and clients. It helps individuals with disabilities gain the digital skills needed for today’s tech-driven job market.
In this presentation, you’ll have an opportunity to explore the program, learn how your clients can apply, discover how the program can boost your clients’ employability, understand how to integrate SkillingUp into your services, and get details on the learning pathways offered.
Lisa Persaud is the Program Manager for the SkillingUp program at March of Dimes Canada (MODC). Lisa began her career in Employment Services as a Program Assistant for the Canadian Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation Program at MODC. In her current role, Lisa manages the operations of SkillingUp, a digital skills training and workforce development program designed to provide Canadians with disabilities access to free education and career development opportunities.
Please note that this live event will be recorded and streamed to Facebook and YouTube, where it will remain available for our community to enjoy after the session has ended. Closed captioning for this event will be available on these platforms.
