How to apply: Government of Canada Information Session For Job Seekers

Join Yvonne Webb from the Public Service Commission of Canada on August 12th, 12 – 1 PM PT, for a presentation on employment equity, self-declaration, and the accommodation process. It is intended for job seekers who are curious about working for the Federal Government but are not sure where to start — here is your opportunity to ask all of your burning questions!

Yvonne Webb joined the PSC’s British Columbia and Northern regional team as a Human Resources advisor, following the completion of her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, French Literature, and History at Simon Fraser University. She joined the PSC’s Vancouver team on a permanent basis in June 2020. She is currently expanding her scope of practice by furthering her knowledge and expanding her skills in regard to outreach and engagement, accessibility, staffing and client service.

Staff, volunteers, and clients are part of a team and expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This means that physical harm, verbal or written abuse, harassment of any kind, and any bullying behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have committed conduct prohibited by the societies is subject to disciplinary actions as deemed fit by the Executive Director, up to and including removal from the programs.
