Introduction to SPARC BC

Accessible parking may feel like a complicated or scary topic to talk about, but SPARC BC is here to help you! SPARC BC has delivered the Parking Permit Program for People with Disabilities and has learned that accessible parking is central to what it means to be a truly accessible society. Join us on Monday, November 1st at 11 AM PT to learn more about SPARC BC and the role accessible parking plays in creating complete communities.
Lorraine Copas is the Executive Director for the Social Planning and Research Council of BC (SPARC BC) and has extensive experience in areas of research, social policy, community social planning and capacity building. Lorraine holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from McMaster University and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University.
